Notes/Trivia

  • The title is an obvious parody of "Free Range Chicken".
  • This is the first episode where Duncan's friends do not make an appearance.
  • This is the first episode to reveal Helen's surname.
  • Consulting Producer David Silverman cameos in this episode during the Burning Man gag referencing his flaming sousaphone performances at the festival. Coincidentally, Silverman also appeared with his flaming sousaphone in The Simpsons episode "Warrin' Priests, Part 2." which premiered immediately before this episode on Fox.[1]
  • While the original rating on air was TV-14 (DLV), the on-demand version on fox.com is rated TV-14 (DL).
